Sadachbia

Sadachbia is a Xenoarchaeologist Albategna. Working on the excavation of the lost cities of Earth and entirely too curious for his own good, he fiddled with something he shouldn't have and got sent back in time to the twenty-first century. Sadachbia is not his true name (most Albategna are named after stars due to a long cultural tradition of myth and religion, and he was named after the star Gamma Aquarii in his mother language, a word which is more or less unpronounceable by the human mouth), but it is the English-language equivalent.

Gamma Aquarii, named and transliterated from the Arabic as Sadachbia or Sadalachbia, has two alternate meanings. "Lucky Star of the Tents", and "Lucky Star of Hidden Things".

Note that while Sadachbia is referred to as "he", it's technically untrue; his entire species is hermaphroditic. English just doesn't have a proper gender-neutral pronoun (besides "it", which would be rude) and usually uses the masculine as the unmarked form. Interestingly, once upon a time, English did have a neutral pronoun- Ou, which died out around the thirteenth century. There are also some modern-day equivalents (Sie/Hir, Zie/Zir, etc.), but they haven't been widely accepted into common vernacular and feel a little awkward. (And here I will take off my language nerd hat and stop taking about it)
